Imagine...

Imagine, a server with 300 players and thousands of zombies

Imagine, not being able to go towards cities because there are too many zombies to kill.

Imagine, joining a small town of players, going into the city together to get supplies and using the advantage of numbers against the zombie population.

Imagine, using stealth with responsive controls and fluid movement to get past zombies and grab that can of beans on the table.

Imagine how truly awesome this game will be  :)

It is what I have been waiting for, a realistic game!

For #4, I mean not jerky and hard to use like the current controls.

Imagine getting 5-10fps because of these features.

I have faith that Rocket and friends can optimize the game enough to add all of these things, maybe not 300 players but 100 is definitely possible.

You can do the stealth thing already. Just alt tab for a decent amount of time until you get the red chain, then run in and the zombies wont even budge :)

It goes without saying that the zombies we currently see in the game are very far bellow expectations - I'd even go so far to say that, if one were to remove zombies from the standalone altogether, the game itself would feel largely the same, and they wouldn't be missed, if even their absence was noticed. This is something that really shouldn't be for a ZOMBIE survival game, regardless of whether it's in alpha or not. I can't help but get the unnerving feeling that Rocket will mostly "forget" zombies, and that he's relying on other players as being a hard enough challenge.

Some of your ideas are a little hopeless: with the current state of the community (99% will KoS) asking people to group up and raid a town full of zombies is a big ask - everyone would have killed eachother before you even get to the town. But, yes, zombies do urgently need to be made a challenge - right now, they are more target practice.

Now, think about all the bambies being killed at spawn instantly from more 150 bandits:)

That would be awesome.

It would be like D-Day at omaha beach

For the rest, there's mastercard.

#1 Imagine, servers that cost $500 a month.

Imagine, it's optimized to run on a server that doesn't cost 500$ a month

Or, the devs use some of their money to host servers that won't lag and are official dedicated game servers
