Is it just me, or are the zombies....

Recommended Posts

just a LITTLE more dangerous after patch?

They seem to be much quicker to spot and give chase than before.

Im not entirely sure tho, as it may just be that I was in an untouched town (nobody there since last server restart) and the town was just thick with them. But even so, I felt like they were just a little more dangerous than before...

Possibly the improved server performance means theres less delay with the zeds reactions, wouldn't surprise me if they increased total zeds too.

They've been doing that since the game was released.

Yeah, the zombies are getting dangerous. I was balancing eating my dinner and playing last night, stopped in a tree for a bite and got mauled by 2 zombies that came literally out of nowhere.

They seem to be spawning much further outside of towns now.

also the patch notes make mention of increased damage from the mil Z's and also they take more punishment.

Wooo! feels like christmas.

i dont know how people can complain all day about alpha...each update makes me giddy, however slight it may be.

the 5-10 fps increase is making me want to leave work early...

They seem to aggro at a stupidly long range and aggro when you're in buildings for some reason.

Im a little scared, because they've got a LONG way to go before the zombies resemble anything even slightly interesting.

I can confirm this, 2 of them spawned 5 meters in front of me in the middle of a forest.

Patch notes also stated better collision detection. Apparently not if they're going through walls still :(

To me they seem still the same old useless laughable zombies from before. I was in Berezino unlooted, between the lower port area and the upper Berezino I met literally 2 zombies. I was circling around one and it took 5 seconds before he aggroed. The other zombie spotted me from around 100 m and I heard him when I entered a building but I never seen him after that...

Especially when you're in a building. Knowing that they have a special racial feature that allow them to bypass walls, it gets really annoying.
