Etherious 907 Posted February 4, 2014 What are your other specs? Also what settings do you play on?
Tizzle 90 Posted February 4, 2014 Lag depends on your internet strength and that kind of stuff. Your FPS should be fine though, you shouldn't have any problems running it with that card
Macdeth 176 Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) that GPU is definitely good enough DEPENDING ON OTHER COMPONENTS. You will need an equally decent CPU too something clocked at around 3.6 ghz or better preferably an i5 or i7 or equivalent. Also a fast HDD or SSD helps with this game. eisenmaik 17 Posted February 4, 2014 I have enormous fps drops, i play with 80-90 fps and after a few mins my fps drops under 20 for 5 or 10 mins and then it return to 80-90. My System is i5 Haswell 4,8 GHZ and ATI HD7950 3gb and 8gig of ram.... <_< my game settings are at lowest. :(
apollovulcan 93 Posted February 4, 2014 Sounds like you're either overheating or having some power issues Eisenmaik, I'd be leaning more towards power issues. Sounds like the current is dropping off somewhere in your system for a period of time, and then recovers.

jrussell4402 21 Posted February 7, 2014 SSD or Hard Drive spec has no bearing on Frames, only load times. Also, it has been stated by others there is a serious memory leak with the emergency patch. I'm sure a dev will post something soon about it, hopefully. A 7950 should allow you to play DayZ with better settings than low. Your processor can certainly be a bottleneck depending on your hardware setup, but with most people running modern gear to play their games, that bottleneck is not serious enough to take down performance this drastically. Hell, the bandwidth on PCIE 2.0 and 3.0 aren't even able to be saturated by any current video card we would be deploying. Issue is patch related, just be patient
