I play on a laptop with 4GB RAM a lesser AMD CPU and a lesser graphics card. Though everything is turned to minimum with shadows and clouds off, I play it regularly and enjoy it thouroughly. Though lately the new steam update has broken my ability to play anything...

You should be able to play fine on low to medium settings... though knowing exactly which i3 you have might help me give you a better idea.

with my gtx 275 (very old card) and i5 2500k + 8gb of RAM it work fine on low and normal settings. When playing, FPS vary between 25/40, but when recording they drop to 20
