New maps?

I just got a question and im not sure where to post this but when are there going to be new maps? or support for player made maps? id love to see the epoch map back and a snow map would be amazing!

Honestly don't know, but don't be let down yet, many more things are to come, it's only alpha!

New maps yes - Dean has said it in a youtube video but not yet. You have 15kmx15km of map as it is...

i think there will be the ability to create own maps

but that will happen maybe when the final product comes out in two years or so ...

Most likely no, since most of the "other maps" we have seen in the MOD arent made by BI, so in order to use them they need the rights from the authors.
Some might not be interested in giving up they're work, especially to DayZ (This game has a bad reputation on the BI forums tbh)

 

The current map will get expanded though, theres more to come :)

Perhaps we will get mod tools, similar to Arma, to make maps in the future, but nobody knows yet tbh.
