Using an Exploit to Stop Deaths From Falling Bugs.

Some of you may know that I conduct experiments in DayZ.

 

While conducting an experiment today, I stumbled upon a way to avoid taking fall damage completely. As a YouTuber, I like to share the info I get in the form of videos. Should I share this info.. or would it be frowned upon?

 

I ask because I know how much frustration dying from falling bugs causes. Then again.. it's an exploit... opinions? :)

If it involves the key v this has been known for sometime, but it's very tricky to time right.

I would say post the video AFTER making an informative post in the bug report interface.  Then link your video there.

Dude it's obviously not intended.  It's likely a bug that you're able to exploit.  Post a bug report and don't post a video.  Next thing you know we'll have Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon in Cherno with people flying off buildings to get down quicker.

Frowned, dont EVER give information about exploits/cheats ingame on the forums.

As stated earlier, report in on the bug tracker and provide information to reproduce it there mate.

 

Thats all you gotta do, but dont ever start posting videos of "how to exploit/cheat" on the forums, you will get a warning and the videos will be removed :)

If it can be used to avoid non-bug deaths, ie: non-ladder-bug-falling deaths, - and I highly suspect that - then please don't post it, but add it to the bug-tracker (you can mark your report as private).

I vote 'Post the Vid'.

As it stands, if there is a bug that can fix a glitch then do it. When the glitch is fixed, then they can resolve the bug - just make sure you report it and hopefully they won't get it bassackwards by just fixing the bug and ignoring the ethereal wall issue!

This exploit only eliminates fall damage. Nothing else.

Thank you. This is why I asked. However, I will not post the video or any information about the exploit. I'm going to post a private bug report.

As Byrgesen said instructions on how to exploit the game are not allowed. The prefered COA would be for you to submit a bug report.
