Possibilty to create a second character

I would like to have a character to play alone and another one to play with my friends!

One on the regular servers, one on the hardcore. That's the two possibilities at this moment :) Won't be likely to change until they (if they even are) are going to support private servers.

Never on the same hive.  It would be abused and exploited by either scouting with the fresh spawn character or having two geared chars in the same general vicinity.  One could revenge kill while they are picking up your gear.  There would also be the possibility of using both chars in an attack creating confusion, disappearing (logging out) and popping up as the other character.

I think is a bad idea, even the thing about regular/hardcore doesn't sound quite right...is a survival horror game (or is supposed to be) so we need to be only 1 person in the game and that person must be persisten across the whole game...wheter is regular or hxc, private or public
