Upcoming patches and "receiving"

Im gad there will be something done about server hopping and combat logging but this is my worry.Sometimes when i join a server it does not sync.I got to my invetory and i just get "receiving" it does this mid game sometimes and i usually have to leave the server then keep joining servers untill i find one that works.Will i be effected negatively by upcoming patches?I KNOW its alpha so theres gonna be issues but its not gonna be cool to be punished for something i have no control over.No matter how long i wait the receiving doesn't go away for me.

Unfortunately, yes. But the alternative is to do nothing about the rampant exploits that are being used by a sizible proportion of the player base. So we are just going to have to deal with the side effects as best we can.

Yeah, I've had this happen on occasion as well.  Can be kinda annoying, but at the same time, expected.  There are some server-side optimizations coming to us soon, which may or may not help with some of these issues.. We'll see soon I guess!  :)
