Why Are Servers 70+USD?

Positive. Just because I recently registered doesn't mean I just started playing the game. Deduction is far more complicated than that.

 

Didn't mean to imply that you're a newbie around here. Was just curious, as it could have been a typo.

 

I had worked with servers that were aroudn 40$ / month - which is in my oppinion not too far off the pricetag Vilayer gave me the last time - which was 55$ / month for a standalone-server.

 

 

Reiterating, I'm f*cking insulted at those prices and Dayz Mod was never that expensive 4 months after release.

 

I am not saying I'm not - it definitely is expensive - but I don't think it is too over the top and I still have faith it will get better soon enough. At the latest when private hives are allowed - as you could host your own server then.
