TheWizard14 372 Posted February 3, 2014 Perhaps in the future of DayZ they should add in blank bullets that just make the noise of firing your gun, but nothing actually comes out. You could use this to scare people away or try to fake out people by shooting blanks.

commanderbash 102 Posted February 3, 2014 I'd say no and lock because they'd serve no actual purpose. you can make the same noise with real bullets, shoot near to someone if you want to scare them off.
Max beans 2 Posted February 3, 2014 I'd say we should get incendiary ammo instead, and as well.

If they serve no actual purpose then why are they a reality IRL.
commanderbash 102 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) they're a prop for performances to ensure they don't injure the actors. this could be a stage production or a milsim. either way its not as important in the game to shoot people without hitting them, if you want to achieve this, missing them works just fine. rickenbacker 190 Posted February 3, 2014 If they serve no actual purpose then why are they a reality IRL. Because IRL people die when you shoot them. In the game, they just respawn. If you want to scare people away, why not just fire a few shots in the air?
