You don't complain in BF4 that other people kill you for their own enjoyment of the game do you? Killing other survivors is part of this game, for whatever reason. However in this game you have the choice and opportunity to do things differently than just with the end of the barrel of a gun. You just have to learn how to go about it, it isn't easy and may be frustrating to learn but it is a great challenge and a lot more fun than just shooting people on sight. Also helping bambis does not equal to running on the highway along the coast fully geared and yelling friendly over direct comms. That would equal to stupidity. Admire the scenery? I do! As it stands, DayZ is a combat game with some scavenging thrown in. It does need to change focus if it's ever going to have any long-term appeal.
