twingunz 308 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) I don't really have any theories of my own other than the obvious green mountain ones but I would be interested in having the lore explained in game through visual clues, perhaps old newspapers (or newspaper clippings) as well, even have it so theres conflicting how's and why's to what really happened to let people come to their own conclusions, but if that ever does come in game it'll be a very long way off. perhaps everyone drank the kool-aid. ThaMac 24 Posted February 3, 2014 I think there was a horrible uprising of the Can Openers. They started trying to "open" humans and this turned them into zombies. In an effort to contain the outbreak the people have destroyed every can opener they could find but it was to late.... Seriously, why does every house have canned food, but NONE have can openers! It was in a little town inland, somewhere I stopped between point a and b. worst2first 71 Posted February 3, 2014 Did the events referenced in Arma II take place or is this a completely different timeline? I tend to think they did because of the presence of berets and Western military gear. There are also numerous mass graves around the map if you look closely. I doubt the infection is a result of Chernarus military or scientific experimentation as it's doubtful Chernarus had the resources to devote to expensive research that would be of no practical use to a former Soviet republic.
