Best feeling in-game?

Recommended Posts

Hey this is my first thread/topic and i'm brand new to this forum and only clocked 50+ in game on Standalone, so please bear with me <3

Whilst i've been playing this game that personally i find marvelous and entertaining and also get my heart racing so far. I have come to realize there are a few things that really create an awesome feeling in this game. Some of these feelings i get may be Cliche' but never the less i love them and it really creates a sort of goal to keep trying to achieve these "feelings" for me to enjoy the game more than i already do. So here are my Top 3 "Best feelings".

1): Logging onto your first server and finding it untouched with still a reasonable amount of people in it.

I believe this feeling is so good for people like me, as i only will log onto one server for my whole playtime that session and i only choose a server based of the player amount and the ping (as i like interaction with people and no lag, who doesn't?). So when i find out i have loot to hunt for it creates a drive to explore and get to certain destinations faster which creates a good survival feeling.

2): Having a friendly interaction or experience with a stranger.

I find that while taking someone out who attacked you is rewarding as you get there gear (and revenge maybe) the feeling of chatting with someone, maybe even trading or becoming companions without  either of the parties killing each other or backstabbing is an awesome feeling and even better. I have been lucky enough to have be able to experience this at least 3 times so far!

3): Feeling complete.

I realize this differs from player to player, but when i play i kind of have a vague or specific idea on what i want, and when i can get all the items or pieces to my complete picture i have in mind, it a sweet feeling as i feel i have less to worry about getting geared or looting and more about player interactions (which normally consists of helping people out and acting as a medic/bodyguard).

Alright they are my top 3 "best feelings" in-game, i'd love to hear what yours are atm, feel free to post any amount you like, as im keen to see what you have on your list of "best feelings", as i may be able to re create them and make my game play more enjoyable than it already is!!!!

P.S my mother tongue is not English so proof reading this would take a long time to achieve. Bear with me :)

Your English is perfectly fine for an online forum :P

Personally, my best feeling would be shooting some bandit guy from 300+ meters away after seeing him kill someone, with one bullet. Although I haven't done this yet, I've been practicing on zombies for the day.

Best feeling for me is probably having a DayZ all nighter then see the sun rise in the morning.

Whilst I got this feeling when the mod was released I feel I can post it here.  The best feeling was the unkown, I knew nothing about the game its mechanics and or where to go it made every encounter more intense as I gauged other players and tried to find a place to call home on the map.  The best feeling ingame is the ones you get through your first few months of experience and loss, to this I suggest never looking at any tutorials just live the dayz life and enjoy.

my mate and I are in zelenog in one of the buildings on the strip in a hardcore server (only way to play), I'm being a dick running around the building blind with a burlap sack on my head (as you do) completely oblivious to the world around me. I hear a gunshot and my mate says "FUCK" still blinded and ignorant in my cozy burlap sack i reply "zombie?" and he's sighs "nah someone sniped me".

All i have is a fnx with no clip and a bullet in the chamber to defend myself i got to the window on the second story to see if i can see movement in the street and *bang* i take a shot to the arm but thats when i knew where he was across the street 1 story up; he must of seen us enter the building and setup to take us out on our exit.

As I bandage up I take out my chambered FNX and i hear over the mic "This is my city bitch" being heavily trained in the MGS:VR simulator I use all my stealth tactics to get up to the window unseen, I pop my head out and spot him; right where he was before like a fool muhaha, I fire my only shot before he has a chance to react it hits and he drops down. Thinking he's only unconscious i quickly run across the street to finish him off but alas he is dead and there is no torture in his future this time but now i have a fully kitted out SKS (my first one) and soooo many goodies, the part that i enjoyed the most was before all this my mate was giving me shit about only having a single chambered bullet for defense while he had a kitten out mosin and i came out the victor! :P

What i learned is the chambered FNX is OP and by far the best line of defense for all situations haha that is sarcasm

My favorite kill thus far still feeling the ball tickling thrill from it all a couple days later, the dude must of been so mad! haha

Best feeling is dropping fully armed Bandits, I play with two other people. And covering each other, and the flanking is amazing in this game.

It's so satisfying.

Getting revenge on a bandit who killed you and getting your stuff back - almost impossible to achieve, but still :)

The second best feeling is getting shot at but escaping. The best feeling is doing that, and then killing your attacker.

I loved that feeling :D

When I got the mod I had seen a lot of videos and I thought I could just start the game and be good at it. Nope.

Feeling safe. I play strictly PvE and avoid cities unless I have to, same for airfields. I ran into one other player twice that was friendly, and one of those times we pulled up together for a while, I was in a week and hadn´t been to an airfield before. Without hesitation, he took me. The feeling of safety one other person gives in this game is amazing. Precisely because 98% in any given time on most servers is out to kill you for now.

Another thing, you may laugh at this, but I learned how to use a compass. I have a map, but running through trees always throws you off track, and I now know a fair bit of the map, also visiually which also feels great. I´m starting to understand the environment, which adds to my feeling of safety  :)

Best feeling is to survive against all odds, when you think you are about to die at any moment, but with skill or luck you live to see another day.

Meeting the same player you've met a year ago, and recognize him by his voice.

Happened to me...
