If this game was truly awesome, it would allow us to duct-tape 9 stanag mags together, put 2 on the gun itself, attach 4 flashlights, and get a Holo with 4x sight.

Yes. I know those fellows. I enjoy their videos very much. Very informative!

 

I just don't think an AR-15 has a place in the game. That is my opinion and shouldn't be taken too seriously. 

 

I still think the Ruger 10/22 is silly to have in the game too. There are plenty of Russian/European equivalents that the game could have. I'm glad to see they used a Russian shotgun in the game. 

 

Is the AR-15 used in the military? I don't know. That is probably the only reason the M4 is in the game...military use. Civilians in Chernarus owning an AR-15...unlikely. imho.

Thanks to your recomendation of the heavily modified AR-15, my days as a kindergarten teacher are now much more enjoyable. At first I wasn't too sure it was the right rifle for me, but with it in my hands I am now, truly 'Awesome' as promised by your eloquent sales staff.

 

Furthermore I have not been sworn at by a 3 and a half year old or their parents for over a week, and there has been only negligible collateral damage.

AR-15s used by the military? Police yes, military no. I believe the AR-15 was made for civilian use as it's not automatic, more like a marksman rifle. I like the idea of a militarized civilian weapon, but an AR in Chernarus? Yeah, way to out of place. I'd like to see something like it though. Police weaponry, now that's a fun idea. :D

Something you could modify such as the AR would be perfect in the game. Anything that "fits" in the game! The AR-15 is an amazing weapon but sadly I don't know of an equivalent to it when it comes to modifying it. It would really be cool to see this game having unique weapons. Modifying it in strange ways would suit the "apocalyptic theme"! Water bottle silencers, Binocular sights only used for zooming while having your gun out (but not for magnified shooting), laser lights, Flare gun attachments, etc. 

 

Police weaponry would be a great idea.

Found something cool! The AN-94, don't know much about Russian weaponry but there's hardly any assault rifles or semi automatic rifles besides the Kalashnikov family (the AK-47 and other weapons based off of it). Then again, Russian civilian weaponry is a whole lot different from U.S. xD

I'm still waiting for the AK-47 and its upgraded variants (AKM, AK-74, etc.). No need to start throwing American made firearms into the post-soviet state of Chernarus.

Indeed, but from what I have seen from people firing Aks, they pack a hell lot punch, but aren't very accurate. :/
