Is Windows 7 better for DayZ Standalone ?

i just want to know if Windows 7 is better than Windows 8 especially for DayZ ?

I am using Windows 8.1 and so far I have no issue at all besides other than the game being an Alpha.

it depends on your setup.

there have been several reports of game performance increases in Win 8, but its not massive. toms hardware benchmarks have shown an increase of 0.5 - 2 FPS, so its not really justifying a switch, if you prefer win7 otherwise.

but benchmarks have been done with "clean" systems. rigs like mine would profit from a clean install no matter what version :D

Im running it on Windows 8.1 PRO and im loving it so far :)
Although i cant say its faster then Windows 7, both should have no issues with the game tbh.

And you will most likely not find "the better one" as some others have mentioned hehe.
Stick to what you like mate, it all works fine.
