Character deleted just for joining - Can find Server again

Recommended Posts

Hi guy,

I joined on a server, but 1 sec later I was kicked and my character was deleted.

Is that allowed?? Servername was "DayZ Public ....." but nothing like "Warning! Char del!" or "Kick ...."

I hate it, I want that all those servers will be banned from the official server browser.

This game sucks and I never gonna play it again, because of the fu people, not of the game.

FYI, no server owner can delete your character mate.
Only people with acces to the DB can do things like this. (devs basicly)
And no, kicking for no reason is not allowed either.

And we care about this why?

It is a common bug and has nothing to do with the server but with the hive. Also the people saying "Char deleted on join" and similar are actually doing you a favour and telling you that the server has been having problems and thus it is not advisable to join it.

Then again i take all server names with a grain of salt. One of my favorite servers to play on is called "24/7 Night - Little restarts" and so on (forgot the full name) and was 24/7 day untill a recent patch and it runs with a consistent 4 hr restart schedule.

So in conclusion. Cry a river then build a bridge so you can get over it.
