Question about Experimental Build

I couldn't find anything in the search, so, if I switch to the experimental build, do I have to redownload the WHOLE game(which I think was about 5 GB) or a smaller file?

It will download only the patch (at least in this case, but it has always been this way).

Just remember, that to go back down to stable, you will also need to redownload a similar amount. Just something to be aware of.
