What is the difference between Dayz Staff and Players?

Because the title is way too short I want to know the following:

- In-game does a Developer have a way of identifying himself as a Developer? (Custom skin? Colored name in-chat/in-game? Special [Developer] tag inbuilt?)

- Does a Developer have any special sort of access or same access as players? (Unless for bug issues with servers?)

- Do ALL of DayZ staff members have the ability to edit characters or only Rocket?

Nobody has any ingame powers.

I'm currently the only person working on ingame code.

Only architecture team members have access to the database itself.

Hm, but the question also remains: How can we identify a DayZ Staff/Developer between a Player in-game? Anyone could impersonate.

I don't know why you'd need to.

If someone is in-game and claiming to be a dev/staff member ignore them and move on.

Sure, from your point of view.

Think of it from theirs. They have thousands of people all wanting that "neat in-game chat". Things could get out of control very quickly.

You'd be affecting their play experience and testing ability.

Rocket has barely had a chance to play his own game since it has been put online. You never killed him and at the current rate never will.
