If not, un-install and re-install, otherwise, send a message to steam support, they're actually really good despite what anyone says. They've fixed lots of my problems.

im assuming your are trying to play the mod? haven't seen this problem in the SA yet. but could be wrong.

 

if its the mod. if i remember correctly this mean you have a bad version some where. try re-downloading the beta patch/version of mod.

Yep thats THE classical Mod problem....sure you have the Standalone version of DayZ and not Arma2+Mod?^^
