Drinking Too Much Water Affects Energy?

One odd thing I noticed yesterday:

 

After spawing I found myself a well - and (for confirmation) on a second life: a pond - and drank, drank drank, beyond "I am full" until I got "My stomach feels really stuffed".

 

I stopped drinking and went on....and started starving a mere 5 minutes later....and went unconscious from hunger another 5 to 10 minutes later - much earlier than you would usually go down from starvation.

 

Actually, it was funny to see both lines on top of each other: "I feel stuffed" and a red "I'm dying of starvation."

 

But it made we wonder: Does drinking too much (without vomiting, of course) affect your energy so that you starve much faster than usual?

Uhm, it shouldn't and it is the first time I read something similar :/

Are you sure you did not vomit? Animations are cluncky, if you were crouch walking you could have done it without noticing...

No, I'm not 100% sure because I was crouching and didn't move, so I couldn't tell from the animation.

 

But I was certain that you would be notified if you were close to vomiting....AND you wouldn't be "Stuffed" anymore after it, would you?

Your stomach is full water, but you need food.   =    "I feel stuffed" and a red "I'm dying of starvation."

You can´t survive only with water.

When you start, you food and water level is at 30%. At 25% you get warnings.

Yes, I'm aware of that - but still: I was starving - twice - at a much faster rate than usual.

 

In practical terms: I spawned at Kamyshovo, drank at the pump and headed directly north into the woods, no stops, no detours - and went unconscious in the courtyard of castle Rog.

 

The second time I spawned near the factory north of Solnichny, drank water at the pond there and went north - and passed out just past Bay Nizhnaya.

 

For cross-checking: I respawned at almost the same point again later and drank from the pond only to the point of being "full" and went north again....everything was fine, I reached Berenzino without starving.

You're starting with 1800/4000 water and 1000/20000 energy.

First thirsty message with 2000 and first hungry with 600.

Dying of dehydration at 0 water and dying of starvation at 100 energy.

Being stuck crouching happens when vomiting...test it again standing and moving to be sure :)

You get a notification for vomit only if you have an intoxication, atm, not if you vomit from stuffing.

And yes you wouldn't be stuffed...as you shouldn't be healty right after they shot you and you lost lots of blood and the screen is grey. In case it isn't clear, some notifications take some time to be refreshed (while some others don't), and this could be the case.

Gugolas, you CAN get stuffed on water...go to the next faucet and try it out. ;) So this is pretty real.

 

I'll try again the next time I respawn, and that time I'll use 3PP to see if I'm vomiting.

Remember as well that if you're sprinting for long durations i'm pretty sure this has an effect on your energy which will affect hunger and since you probably didn't eat much compared to drinking it caused starvation

1500 food

1500 water 

healing/healthy status.

 

 

You can be full with water :P but you will starve if aint had no food in it.

Never said you can't get stuffed from water, almost every player does it on respawn. I said that vomiting may not remove the stuffed bar instantly, and I brought you another example of slow refreshing of those inventory bars .I was replying to your "You wouldn't be stuffed anymore", as I quoted.

Read again.

Then, if you were in first person, for sure you don't know if you vomited, wich stays my idea of what happened.

Ah, allright....so the "stuffed" takes some time to disappear, too? Didn't know that, sorry.

 

So, you all may be right...I *may* have vomitted in deed (without noticing...), lost a lot of energy because of that - and then starved quickly.

 

It is starting to make sense now.
