Gdaddy22 299 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) I set up a poll to see your opinions. I'm not 100% sure if this is a good idea. This idea will fix the problem where people would only look for a 1/40 server so they can loot everything they want without the risk of getting killed and once they are full geared they go to a 39/40 server and have an huge advantage over the other people. When people are palying on a 1/40 server, they don't care about getting killed, there is no threat at all, but when they're on a full server they will play carefully and watch every bush. People should ALWAYS play carefully, check every bush, there should always be the risk, you shouldn't be able to see how many other people are there on the map, in my opinion it kind of ruins the idea of the hardcore gameplay. To make it work better, we would have to decrease the amount of servers (right now there's way too many, at least in the U.S) Edited January 29, 2014 by Gdaddy22
elf cakes 559 Posted January 29, 2014 interesting idea, maybe this could be another hardcore server-exclusive feature.
TEST_SUBJECT_83 465 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) Thats a great idea man!Simple yet effective!I fully support this! Keep it on the hardcore servers, let those "regular"players do whatever they want.As far as Im concerned the people that play on regular servers aren't getting the full DayZ experience. gerbilschooler 229 Posted January 30, 2014 No... bad idea. Get stuck in server with NOONE on it.. and usually noone is on a server for a good reason. With the new logout timer, or whatever the new patch is introducing, It would make it even MORE difficult to find a decent server
gjhook 12 Posted January 30, 2014 They will fix server hoping soon I'm sure.

ImageCtrl 719 Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) I love this idea. I suggested this for the MOD in the past. The problem is that you can see with other tools how many players are online.I vote the option "no", because I do not want to be disadvantaged by guys using the tools. Sorry. But beans for you. JuX 72 Posted January 30, 2014 The problem with this is that you cant tell your friends when slot has opened in the server, since there is no queue system implemented. So far the server hoppers are still getting killed pretty well, specially when they join freshly reset servers that get filled instantly. razguul@gmail.com 80 Posted January 30, 2014 Terrible idea, I don't play this game to spend my time on empty servers, I want to play on full servers where there are people to shoot/interact with.
k120 42 Posted January 30, 2014 No,i get horrible fps in full servers so i always try to pick one that is only half full... I think it would turn out more of annoyance that it's meant to fix.
Awruk 216 Posted January 30, 2014 And what stops me from joining the server checking the playercount with P key?
Hethwill_Khan 233 Posted January 30, 2014 Voted YES, although I like to see the full/almost full servers to go play in them, that's right. Quite contradictory right ?
