After the latest patch, my blood type has constantly been O+ and even 5 guys I played with yesterday all had the O+ as well while on the same server. Has anybody else experienced this?

Yeah. I wouldn't put too much stock in it yet, be glad your character doesn't explode when you use the blood typing kit.

or that item damage doesn't really have any effect yet.

anything that has a needle and says "badly damaged" in this game makes me cringe... not only will you likely get a nasty blood infection, but that twisted needle is funna rip your vein out something nasty...

Yes, my character has stayed the same since the start, i'm also 0+

I noticed that somebody else posted a similar thread earlier this morning. Sorry for the re-post people. Also, I am aware this sounds rather noobish, lol. But I have 170+ hrs in SA, I just was surprised my whole team was O+ yesterday.

I've wondered if blood types were completely random or if they mirror real world percentages.

Most of tthe human population is type O.

So everyone being type O isn't as weird as being type A.

Found a blood test kit and I got A+, the same blood type as I started out in the beginning before the patch. My character is three weeks old.

Yeah, I'm guessing perhaps they already implemented real world percentages, making it not strange at all for 5 people to have the same blood type.

What if, in some crazy bizzaro world, to play DayZ you had to submit medical records so your character had all your stats...

 

That would be ridiculous.
