Where Is Loot

ok so i started off playing the standalone and im enjoying it, however iv just got the mod aswell and have no idea where to find loot as i cant enter any houses, where does it spawn? also iv read somthing about being able to get tents in the mod and store gear, how does this work, is it stored untill the server restarts, or is it saved in that location for ever on that server, also is it only saved on the server you were on when you saved it, so if you change its gone? thanks in advance, brett.

Hello there and welcome!

 

Enterable buildings are far less in the mod. Check the big orange and red houses and the tiny cabin ones, schools and the usual firestations/barracks and supermarkets. That is generally where stuff spawns. Tents can be found either in large houses or supermarkets. You can set them up on any flat ground excluding concrete by right clicking them in your inventory and they will stay there for a few days if not saved at all (there is a scroll option that reads "save tent" which basically saves it to the database manually). Restarts don't affect them usually.

In the mod you're only able to enter few houses. The tents you've spoken of can be found and placed on the ground. There you can store loot which will be only saved on the current server.

This will be there even after server restarts.
