regular & hardcore characters

As far am im aware, no. You will have a seperate character.

EDIT: Misread, Hardcore and regular will be seperate characters which means your regular should be preserved.

I meant, am i allowed to have 2 characters?

I want to play on Hardcore server with new character, but i am interested if my previous character from Regular is preserved so i can resume my game on Regular server later on.

You have 2 characters yes, 1 for regular, 1 for hardcore. This is like the 1000th post asking this. Use search please.

Yes. Seperate hives = seperate characters.
