couple questions, ghillie and green bars

how do u get green bars on the side of ur mags i saw it on ones dayz in youtube vid do i have a patch not installed right? i torrented the latest 1.7.1.5 and is the skins fixed so u dont spawn in water? just wanting to know if it was so i dont mess up my charcter. ty in advance :)

Green bars beside the mag shows ammo. Wouldn't understand how it doesn't show for you.

You have to have the newest Arma2 beta patch installed which is completely different from the DayZ patches. Goto http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and download the patch from the top BIG GREEN SECTION.

Make sure that the server/s you are playing on are also operating on the newest beta patch. The beta patches are backwards compatible. So, you can play on servers that might not be running the newest patch and not realize it.

Then you don't have the beta patch. The beta patch, not the alpha for Day Z. The beta patch for Arma 2. The game you bought, not the free alpha testing mod.

If it doesn't say 1.60.93965 in the lower right corner on the main menu, you're not running the beta patch.

And you'll need to look up instructions on how to do that, because it's not just as simple as installing it.
