protective cases should be,,,,, protective

I don't know why this isn't already in the game, if its glitched or what's going on here. but protective cases should protect their contents until their either badly damaged or ruined. simple, makes sense. vote.

It's not a bullet proof case.

 

Like said above it protects from the elements, and they're usually designed to also protect from your general banging (i.e. scratches, bumps, dropping, etc.).

they still get damaged, along with everything inside them, when a zombie slaps me. their fingers are not made of bullets

Never really tested it, might have to put a couple books in case, put the case in my pants and a couple books in my pack and go swimming and see if the individual items get wet/damp

Correct me if I'm wrong but the description even mentions protection up to or at military standards. Which could include that.

 

In any case, damage should be significantly lower (or depending on damage, nonexistent)  to anything in them unless you get turned into swiss cheese. Or so.

My shoes didn't get wet when I went swimming with them in my pockets.
