R4ppiT (DayZ) 0 Posted January 27, 2014 Was playing today on one of DE888 DayZ Epoch servers, was also first time playind DayZ Epoch mod. Was having loads of fun with my friend until we went to the NE airfield to check whats going on and after a short tour some people started shooting at each other in the airfield, one of them had a big chopper waiting there so me and my friend thought fuck it lets join the fight so we took them out and after that one of the admins put a message in the chat saying "bye jerry" after that i thought someone plots a revenge but no. Got disconnected and said quick banned and so my friend asked in-game chat why i got banned. They said because i killed someone in god mode zone? How is that possible? I was aware that you cannot kill people in trading zones but as these guys were fighting amongst each other i thought maybe they were out of the zone and if they are theyll have god mode on. After that i searched and found their TS and joined and poked the admins who where in game but none of them responded instead some guy came on my channel and said cant do nothing about it balalbalabaaballablba. I was like okay its only 30mins i can wait and study on how to build bases in epoch mod. After logged in noticed i had no gear whatsoever including the key for armored Humvee full of gold and silver ammo and weapons. After that asked in chat wtf is this and admins response was "just go and die". I think these responses are fucking childish and so was removing my gear as the guys who were firefighting got tpd back on spot and got their gear back. Thats all I have to say. Please dont join or support these servers as admins obviously have their little puppets who they listen to and protect instead of understanding the fact that life is unfair. Epoch of course, nice and fun. We don't really have many members because we shut our server with roughly 115 players down due to the issue of schooling starting back up. We're back now and fully supporting players! 147.255.183.146:2302 If you want to know something I've personally experienced here whilst getting killed as an admin here it is,Basically I was in Chernarus Overwatch at the near the Factory or Berizeno when I was shot right out of my truck, now, my reaction was to simply say 'Hey man, you shot an admin.' Once I said that he appologized like 1 million times, I said it's alright and actually have him some gear due to the fact of him being a fresh spawn. That's what I do, I enjoy helping people rather than abusing it. Then after all that, we where on our different ways! I hope you come play with us man! Really fun map, we've got a ton of scripts and addons to the server as well, including MP Airstrikes from admins if you need help w/ AI, that's all we provide and it won't always be really open for use. Still in a beta phase due to us not having admin tools. But yeah man, thanks and sorry you had to deal with such BS as a first timer to Epoch, I hope if you come play with me and my admins on this server you'll enjoy Epoch again and maybe put some faith back into administrators! (I don't know if those admins made you dislike epoch by the way, just sorta putting that there because I've got nothing else to really say lol!) G'day mate.
