My current setup..

Recommended Posts

Here is how I became the God of the gas station:

- One friend up in the hills with a scoped mosin

- I am hiding in some bushes near a gas station on the east coast

- My friend tells me when anyone is coming ("hey there's a guy coming from the north, he's on the road") or ("guy coming up from south on rail road tracks") etc..

- Once the unsuspecting player gets close enough, I pop out and become their angel of death. (unless they are a bambi that isn't looting)

God of the Gas Station.

You kill on sight!? You special snowflake!

Try being a legitimate bandit, it's more fun and doesn't ruin anyone else's fun. Some of the best times I've had have been being fed rotten fruit or chased by an axe-wielding maniac shouting gibberish over direct chat.

And if you fear your prey will outfox you and shoot you dead, THEN your friend with the Mosin can play his part...

It's all about the role-playing, my friend.

Sometimes I'll talk to the person and if they're friendly I won't shoot them right away.  I'll try to earn their trust for a few minutes and warn them of others 'up the road' that are pretty malevolent. Then when they head away to continue their journey, I put a sweet end to it.
