2 but then youre not abIe to sprint anymore and you have to drop one gun if you need your hands to do something other. So you can just carry one with no negative effects and 2 with those mentioned above.

sorry no i meant main weapons not incl pistols ?

Currently you can carry 2 main weapons (m4, mosin, shotgun), one in your back and another in your hands. The sawed shotgun (2x5) and the pistols (2x2) can fit in your bag.

If carrying two primaries, you will drop the one in your hands everytime you USE or PICK UP anything else. Not worth it in my opinion unless you are already fully loaded and healthy, because you will constantly be dropping it to pick up loot and eat/drink and may lose it in the floor when you drop it. It's happened to me and my clan mates, use caution.

Edit: You will also likely die before you use both of those primary weapons and their ammo, so just give one away to a friend and let the mosin guy do some spotting/sniping, while the M4 guy is on point/cqc. It takes about 1-2 seconds to switch weapons, and when you switch weapons you drop the one in hand too, so not ideal for a solo firefight anyways unless you are in a really safe spot.

Ya I personally don't recommend carrying 2 primaries as well as it'll only slow you down, unless you're carrying it to a friend of course!

It's all about how you wanna play.

I only carry one when Im with my clan.

Mainly so we can all sprint.

But when I'm lone wolfin' it, I always carry a mosin and a M4.

There are plenty of reasons to have both IMO.

But like I said, it's up to you.

I can only think of 2:

1) Versatility in gunfights. Long range sniping and close combat full-auto capabilities

2) Carrying a gun to a friend or other player.

And considering the hassles involved in general survival gameplay when carrying 2 primaries, 1) is really only viable if your sole interest in the game is gunfighting.
