New Player... HELP?

i bought the game a few days ago and im struggling with third person

i have tried switching servers, changing "toggle view" in settings but i still cant get the third person to work

P.S: i have a laptop with a number pad

any advice?

Have you pressed ''Enter'' on your keyboard ingame and made sure you are not in a ''Hardcore'' server?

Either 'enter' key whether numpad or not should work.

Some servers do NOT allow third person. Look for something like 3PP:ON if it's included.

I believe that 'hardcore' servers do not allow third person.

You will find the game more tense and enjoyable in the long run without third person. In my opinion.

Press the enter on the num pad if you didnt change it abd when joining a server make sure mode isnt hsrdcore

If you don't have "enter" on the numpad then try changing the bind to a different key

make sure you are on  a regular server and not hardcore

Like Berezombie said, Regular = 3PP ON, Hardcore = 3PP off
