Microphone doesn't work please help ASAP

Hi guys, for some reason my microphone on DayZ doesn't work. It works on everything else but DayZ.. Could someone help me with this? Cheers

Might be worth giving a brief outline of which mic you are using?  Any information might help people to provide a solution.

Do you have other Steam games? What mic do you have?

Are your settings up to par?  Is VOIP disabled on the server you are playing?

Check the mic is set as your default input in your pc audio settings. Fixed it for me.

Try steam-settings-voice make sure your recording device is set on the right one, A mate of mine had a problem and think that's what it was.
