i'm not sure if this'll help you but if you play on 'official' servers hosted by Vilayer, MPGS, or GameServers, you have a less chance of respawning. it has something to do with the connection between the server and the hive and those servers tend to have better latency. IF you respawn upon joining a server, you can always leave that server and join another one (works for me 90% of the time) to get your char back, but make sure to NOT loot anything on the reset char so leave right away
