Think of the .357 speed loader EXACTLY as a magazine for the M4; you need 1 speed loader for each 6 rounds, IE: if you have 6 .357 speed loaders you have 6 magazines for your .357 weapon.

It works like a magazine but doesn't really give you an advantage at all since you can reload your .357 by pressing R(no speedloader) after the patch.
