Zjasuu 337 Posted January 24, 2014 When someone fires a gun from a long range you can't hear the sound, do the gun sounds have echo yet?
rustledmyjimmies 361 Posted January 24, 2014 It does 'echo', but it seems not to work sometimes.
DarkwaveDomina 1099 Posted January 24, 2014 I have heard the echo from gunfire. What I have not heard, however, is the snap of the rounds going by. I miss that pants-pissing inducing snap. :(
Badass Potato 15 Posted January 24, 2014 Sounds are kind of shit atm. It's pretty much imposible to understand from where at you're getting shot at. I'm pretty sure they are working on it.

m.cab 83 Posted January 24, 2014 A lot of sounds are just placeholders and there has not been done much on the whole soundsystem is what they said i think. Also think i read they hired a new sound guy to redo all audios...
Atom Quark 437 Posted January 24, 2014 Hearing that snap is the scariest thing in the game I swear to god...Yea, I hate it when a zombie hits a wall and it sounds like incoming fire! Almost fall out of my chair.
rickenbacker 190 Posted January 24, 2014 I have heard the echo from gunfire. What I have not heard, however, is the snap of the rounds going by. I miss that pants-pissing inducing snap. :( i hear it all the time, but it's not the right sound. It sounds like someone firing a gun right next to your ear now. Needs to be more of a "whip" snap, than a loud boom as it currently is.
PhillyT 554 Posted January 24, 2014 Fire arms sounds and volume are completely off in this game. You should be able to hear a gunshot from any of the guns in the game from one end of Berezino to the other without trouble. Might be a balancing thing, but hopefully they increase gun volume.
