Possible new (?) hack ? (Shooting trough walls)

Alright, so I was on a server with my friend, we were coming back from NWAF and decided to loot Balota Airfield, when we were at the MP building near the ATC, we heard a player log in, we checked the building to find out where he was and he wasn't inside, so I checked the surroundings and he wasn't anywhere around, he was talking to us and I could hear him from the inside of the building.. 

 

I ran back inside, closed the main door and waited, suddently I got shot and died, then my friend tried to find him (he was on the 2nd floor I was on the first) and he got just again, none of us ever saw him. 

 

TL;DR: We believe he was using some sort of hacking to be trough the wall and be able to shoot trough it (remember: even if you glitch inside a wall you can't shoot trough it)

 

I bet this isn't anything new, I'm pretty sure it's something related to editing PBOs.

It's not cheating or hacking to shoot through walls. You can shoot through walls in real life.

The game takes the wall construction into account. I didn't do the testing myself but I've seen some data on wall penetration in the Arma 2 & 3 engine.

Bullets don't go through concrete but they do go through wood and tin walls. Penetration depends on the gun and/or bullet caliber.

 

I once got shot from below through the floor in the military jail building.
