Draco122 412 Posted January 24, 2014 So I'm just curious so I'll post this question here In-game recently I managed to craft an improvised courier bag using a burlap sack and some rope which created a small bag with 12 slots but all information I've found relating to the Improvised backpack state it needs "Sticks+Burlap Sack+Rope" in order to make a backpack with 20 slots. So this got me thinking, is this the only variant in game or could you improve the carrying capacity of an improvised backpack by simply adding things in the creation process? Anyone willing to test this out? It would be nice to share to the mass and update otherwise incorrect or outdated information
Gekkonidae 270 Posted January 24, 2014 I thought you did burlap sack + rope for 12 slot, then when you find a stick add it to the bag to make it 20?
Branathon 15 Posted January 24, 2014 i havent been able to make one yet, and it seems like a cool idea, but it seems to me like you will find a taloon backpack before you find rope, burlap, and sticks...
Ravenblade86 14 Posted January 24, 2014 I have a fully geared character because of the rollback, but I was running around looking for the parts to make an improvised backpack this evening, the only thing I could find was the burlap sack (and even those take far longer than normal). Since the little tin sheds/garages do appear to spawn any loot anymore, the chances of finding rope of sticks look pretty slim. The idea of an improvised backpack that you can make better is really good though.
