Blades421 66 Posted January 23, 2014 if you mean your ingame name was changed, then in the bottom right corner of the main menu screen (were your name is displayed) click on your name and a cursor will appear. It creates an entirely new profile in a different folder to your previous cfg (mydocs/dayz instead of mydocs/dayzotherprofiles) and therefore you lose all your controls. No problem for ppl like me who are familiar with this and noticed it right away. Solution is to copy/paste contents of your previous cfg to the new one. But it's still a pretty shitty way to implement the new naming feature without telling anyone. Not to mention you are extremely limited and cannot use more than 15 characters, and can have a name with zero characters. This makes player lists in game look very strange.
