Go into steam

right click "dayz" go to properties, then go to the betas tab, and opt into the experimental version.

There was a new patch. Right click on the game and go to properties, click the updates tab, and make sure your Automatic Updates are set to "Always Keep this Game up to Date". Click the Local Files tab and try verifying the integrity of the game cache. Lastly restart Steam and hopefully, if it hasn't already, it will start updating your game.

Edit:

No DON'T do this, unless you want to play the experimental test patches (which you don't need to to get the servers to work.)

Well as of now this is what its on, and all the servers are running this.

by default all games update via steam anyways, so i wouldnt think thats the issue.

No its not, the new patch is 114557 in the Stable branch. Steam doesn't always work perfectly, and sometimes it needs a kick in the ass like verifying your cache files.
