Maybe You could add some tool that lets You easy follow dev posts? Something like on Blizzard's forums where u have icon next to topic that shows if dev posted there or not and if yes it just jumps to his post etc.

We are tinkering with different kinds of solutions at the moment, trying to figure out what will work best for this particular forum.

Your idea is good, we will look into that too.
