Is the Jerrycan the only way to refuel? Can I park a car close enough to a gas tank to refuel with a red hose I found? I have a 20L jerry can in my car atm but I'm wondering if that is the only way to transfer fuel from a tank somewhere in the game into your car..

on the "original" mod yes, only way to refill is to use 20L Jerry or 5L Fuel tank

but on private hives there are some scripts to auto refuel vehicules (just get close to the tank and the vehicule will refuel automatically)

matiman is correct. On the vanilla Mod 20L and 5L Jerry cans are the only way to refuel. Remember you can only fill the jerry from a large fuel tank or you can siphon fuel from another vehicle.
