Well, It doesn't make any sense to spawn on the exact same location when you're playing on different servers.

 

I've two major reasons to fix this issue about the game breaking issue since it's alpha. 

 

1. Combat logers. (They log off the server, because perhaps there're other people to kill on other servers since they will spawn on the exact same location on different servers.)

 

2. Why items shouldn't follow you on different servers: You can go to the airfield or military camps on empty servers to gear up with high end military equipment and join an almost full server -

to gain an unfair advantage over players who only play on 1 server. 

 

Conclusion: How to fix it: different serers must be unique - so items/loot doesn't save when you start on a new server.

though lets say you make a journey to the north and it takes an hour, and then the server goes down, you will lose all your progress

This has been discussed a lot of times.

 

It's been said that it will be fixed when it will be fixed.

 

Combat logging and ghosting will be fixed the next week or the next update.

Not to be a dick, but...

 

1. They'll flee anyways, so no matter where they spawn, they'll have saved their lifes.

 

2. You could just walk back to the place you went. It costs less time than going to another miltary base, kms away... Unless you're talking about spawning in a huge distance compared to the last log, but that would be retarded  :|

It's doesn't matter, m8..

Your progress should be saved on that particular sever before it goes down and saved next time you play on that server.

When you join a new server, which should be an unique experience with a new challenge, and it's important related to server balance. 

I've shadowbane experience (2002-2009) - so I am experienced related to open world PvP balance.

Fix walls, zombs and light pass thrue them

 

Yes, when you run at walls in first person view you can see through them - and exact same issue as in Shadowbane, lol. 

I blame the game engine. ))

Aren't private hives supposed to solve all of this?

 

Each server on a private hive has your character restricted to that server if I'm not mistaken.
