need help! my player is so slow ?

I'm new to these forums and also to DayZ i've been playing it the last few weeks and well my player jogs the same speed as people walk and he sprints at jogging pace for everyone else ? does anyone know how to fix this or what is actually wrong with my guy ?

Reset all your key bindings you might have changed them ?

One thing I've noticed is that Day z has a number of toggles, such as hitting RMB will toggle jogging, no matter how many times you try to toggle it with shift. There's probably a sprint toggle too that you bumped. I'd look for that.

i can sprint just if i sprint at the same time as a friend does they are gone and i'm sprinting just not fast at all aha sometimes even zombies keep up

Its an fps problem iirc.

 

For some reason if you have low fps in an RV game it slows you waaaay down.

Also, lag/desync prolly doesn't help.
