Red Chain equals DEATH

I get lagged (red chain) symbol and then I die. There are no zombies (playing with a friend to verify), but when I change servers and log back in, I'm dead.

 

Sucks.

What you talkin' about Willis?

 

EDIT:  But yes, a red chain means you are disconnected from the server, it shouldn't automatically kill you.

Yellow chain = hope that the other one is desynched too or die trying to pull out a weapon!
