Feedback Tracker: WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE?

Recommended Posts

TL:DR

1. Feedback Tracker does not have enough Staff

2. Difficult for users to upvote important issues due to sea of duplicates and inconsistent submission quality

3. Hire more staff to maintain FT so issues can be brought to attention. You have the Money.

----

Clearly, the powers that be are SEVERELY understaffed in the face of such a massive amount of feedback.

Currently, the place is a complete and total MESS- filled with countless duplicates, issues with not enough info, or even 'spam'. You have more than enough funds to Hire someone or a company to help maintain the User Feedback. As it is, the mess will only get worse, and even with a search feature, important issues will become buried and unable to be vote upon.

You cant rely on the users to do this, to sort and close and go through the 5000+ cases that have been submitted, most of which are restating the same issues. Is it possible to completely delete those?

Who is currently in charge of the Feedback Tracker? How many Admins?

As a former Functionality QA, it pains me to see such a disaster.

All you need to do is hire some people to do it. You can't expect the User Admins to spend the amount of time and effort needed to maintain this. If it takes 2-3 minutes to review and address an issue, then that's easily over 180 hours of work... that keeps piling up.

Please do something about this. It'll be difficult for users to bring important issues to your attention otherwise.

Normally I'd make a sarcastic joke and tell a flame-threader to go do inappropriate things with foreign objects, but I kind of agree. There should A, be a good, concise sticky and some means of telling people, every time before they post an issue, the rules and guidelines. The staff should be expanded, as well; You have $30 MILLION DOLLARS!
