Random spawns and items.

Currently the map is divided between north and south.
North mostly having heavily armed players most likely looking for a fight.
South mostly having fresh spawns and fresh spawn killers.

I think my idea's will mix that up.


One: Instead of spawning with the same two items (flashlight and battery) lets mix it up a bit.

Instead of those, we could give players any number of balanced items to spice up the new spawn.

Any ONE of these:
-Half eaten food
-Fire starting material
-Near empty water bottle
-Compass
-Rain clothing (for when weather is implemented)

Ect, idea's?


Two: Spice up the spawns.

Instead of me always ending up at the coast,

Maybe I'm a hiker and I spawn on a trail leading to any number of castles.
Maybe I'm a farmer and I spawn next to my small house and field.

Maybe I'm a Hunter and I spawn in the woods.
Maybe I'm ex-military and I spawn at NWAF .. just kidding.

If you're feeling really daring you could combine those two idea's, give our players something to roleplay with.

I.e I'm a hiker, so I spawn on a trail and happen to have a bottle of water and a compass on spawn.

Obviously both item and spawn locations would need to be properly balanced as to not give any one player a huge advantage over the other.

Thoughts? Flames? Accusations that I didn't search the forum?

I think both of these are good ideas even though they've both been suggested before.

i do like these ideas and if you spawn with a half empty water bottle its  not exactly overpowered, the second idea about more random spawns, yeah i kinda agree but at the moment there is apparently a story as to why you spawn on the coast.... you were on a boat which crashed, you navigated your way safely out the boat using the flashlight you found in your room, you then wake up on a random beach of a random place something along those lines, its a pretty bare story so if you could spawn in more places like Novy( already a spawn?), guglovo, polana, Msta, Nadezdihno etc it would be good i agree
