My toon sounds less like he's in pain and more like he's watching Youp*rn in his bedroom when everyone else has gone to bed.

Who knows, as said many times sound has to be completely reworked...maybe they'll change pain sounds to a less "pornografic voice", even if I never tought about this before :/

This is an intentional feature by the devs to ensure your parents check in to make sure the game isn't messing your life up....

Anti-biotic's fixed this for my char, when you take them you will suddenly see a sick indication on your inventory screen, don't worry about that every few mins you'll receive a notification about "feeling better" or "seem's to be working" after about 20 mins or so it will say your done/better the sick indicator will disappear and your char will stop groaning.

 

Edit: I got mine after fighting a zombie, also when the sick indicator appeared I made myself vomit to no effect other then having to sip water on a regular basis, rookie mistakes

You can re-log from what I hear, also pain killers might help and I suspect those brown bottles in hospitals if you inject the contents.

Yeah I know how to fix it, sort of, it's not an exact science but it does my, "jeeez", "hurrrrmmm", "fUuuuk" head in when he does get injured.

Nope, she has the exact same voice which makes me think that these are probably placeholders. They're the same ones that were used in ArmA 2, so we'll probably get some nice new ones at some point further down the line.

I don't really mind the pain sounds, but the frequency that the character keeps repeating these phrases is mildly annoying. Not only does it betray your position to players, but I wouldn't want to crawl across a highly infested area only to shout "FKK THAT HURTS" and letting all the zombies chew on my wounded body(even if zombies don't respond to that sound right now).

Also, the fact that the moaning doesn't stop if you heal yourself, but only stops if you change server or simply reconnect, leads me to believe that the constant moaning is also bugged.

Rocket tweeted (or reddited) about sounds saying they won't really be putting them in place till near the end incase they change animations or whatever so the sounds are synced to the animations correctly, or something along those lines! (i can't recall word for word google it or something *shrug*) so i think our chars are going to be a lil gender confused for quite some time!

But after healing relog if they're still groaning seems to be some infinite loop glitch after they start complaining!

If you heal your infection or take painkillers for an injury, wait a span, and then relog if it doesn't stop, I have never had a character NOT stop moaning.  Does seem to take some work though.

really thats weird as i normally take pain killers after i get injured, i actually overcompensate as i take alcohol, then antibiotics, then painkillers pretty sure it does nothing doing all that but just incase haha! but even so i've yet to have it clear the moaning for me maybe i'm just too impatient either way the log makes them shut up after you've healed, thankfully!

Doesn't seem like there is much consistency yet.  I swear, my first 4 lives, I got sick whenever a zombie hit me.  I would alcohol then antibiotic and have to wait it out.

 

Could be a glitch for you, since normally the moaning cleared for me when my blood got back up to a certain point and waited half an hour or so.

Your probably sick from being scratched by a zombie.

Use Alcohol tincture to clean your wounds, or take some antibiotics.

It will say your sick while there working, but you will get messages saying "your wounds seem to be cleaner" until you get the last message that says "your wounds are now clean"

Eat 2 cans of beans and fill up on water and you'll be healthy in no time. :)

I also noticed that when swimming in the ocean you will, after a while, get a message that your wounds seem cleaner. So if desperate, go for a dip!
