Unconscious Cam

I think once a player fells unconsciouss he should *not* be able to see what's going on around him.

It's a ghosting exploit for the unconscious players giving intel to their friends about enemy position and it would be nice if it gets disabled.

It's not always black. What happened to me is getting the unconscious msg on black screen and few seconds(10-15) later my cam shows up (little blurry though) and I can see what's going on around my body.

If you hit esc or bring up your menu, the screen lightens up slightly so you can see people around you. Not sure if that's what you're talking about but what I'm speaking off isn't that visible and you can slightly see people around you. Either way, I agree with the OP.

One thing I would like to see is the screen fading in and out as you're fainting. If hit in the head and you get knocked out cold then keep it the way it is. However, if you go down from lose of blood, hunger, or dehydration then it shouldn't be so sudden.

That would indicate that you're no longer unconcious, just too f'd up to actually do anything. It give you a chance to shout to you buddy to get off his arse and see to your injuries.

 

Also, I've noticed that if you're bleeding at this point, you can bandage yourself instantly, i.e. no animation delays. I'd guess that's probably a bug, though. Actually it works with any self-administered meds, but not blood or saline.

It is black, when it's not it's a glitch, report/upvote it.  Every time I've had it, my vision has been dimmed anyway and I seam to have only a first person view of the ground, unable to control the camera.  Not truly an exploit "Yeah he's by my body, I can see his shoes."

When you are unconscious, you can hit esc, turn up brightness/gamma, and you can see in front of your body as if you were still awake/alive. Needs to be fixed IMO.

Yep it kinda defeats the purpose of unconsciousness tbh. They should fix this sneaky little bug.  :D
