Balance suggestions

Hello there everyone, i did some digging and actually i didnt find topic like that which should be quite popular since the game is at alpha stage and they distributed it to us means we could give Team DayZ some feedback and suggestions about the balance, yeah, balance, not new things. Please dont post any whining/unrelated shiz/suggestions of new thing to be added, thank you very much, also please note that it would be nice to see some arguments if you gonna give a suggestion.

 

As for me, the main issues at the moment are following: ultra easy to get green/camo clothing.

 

Another thing is the green clothing which gives you somewhat a camo is also too common, any city/village literally after 15 minutes you are full green. Which gives away the joy to see people actually wearing check shirts etc. because if the green clothes are more common than any other color people will just choose it. 

 

 

My english is kind of bad lately, imma so so sorry.

since Whispy explained very well why they shouldnt nerf i will withdraw with less military loot suggestion:)

I don't think the loot is too easy to get, the problem is the server-hoppers and the fact that the servers only allow 40 people at a maximum.

When the servers are able to take, lets say 80 players, and a fix is done to the server-hopping (penalty or something) there will be a much higher activity around the airfields/military bases and therefore making it harder to acquire military-grade loot. In other words, less people on the server with camo-gear and military weapons.

 

Another factor is that the loot is currently not re-spawning by itself. When it does, more people will stay at the high-risk places and camp the loot-spots for the re-spawn.

They should wait for these features before they nerf the loot.

Thats smart, i think you are right about it, but still what do you think about the "green" fashion week in chernarus? Shouldnt green clothes be more rare?

I don't mind them being common really, because I don't use a full set of green clothes. :)
I've noticed that a combination of green-camo+ black/grey or brown clothes is the best combination. If you are in a city you do NOT want to be in a full green outfit, you will shine like a sun against the gray walls! :P
In the wilderness you will blend in really good in full green if you're laying prone, but with the green/black/grey combo you will look more like a bush/stone.

 

Yesterday, I was lying in the open, next to some rocks by the road, eating some beanz. Some dude just run right past me. So obviously my combo works as well. :D
