JasonSabotage 0 Posted January 13, 2014 I'm trying to practice my aiming with the DMR and I'm looking at the Dayz Wiki at what it says the mildots are, but after testing it at a shooting range it seems to be off. My calculations are different than the Dayz Wiki's, so I'm not sure which one I should go by. Does anyone know 100% sure what the DMR Mildots are? Please Help me, Thanks! -Gews- 7443 Posted January 13, 2014 Since it's a 2D scope it also depends on your FOV settings found in My Documents/ArmA 2 Other Profiles/Username/Username.ArmA2OAProfile. fovTop=0.75; fovleft = 1.3333334
JasonSabotage 0 Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) @GewsMy FovTop = 0.75 and my FovLeft = 1 Edited January 13, 2014 by JasonSabotage
gray-z@hotmail.co.uk 84 Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) Depends, As long as you have not accessed and altered the FOV in the .cfg file out with the game then everything stays standard r.e Mildot's. That figure adjusts depending on the resolution/aspect ratio you run. Everything you want to know about the DMR is in here -> http://dayzdb.com/database/dmr Edited January 13, 2014 by G24HAM
-Gews- 7443 Posted January 13, 2014 @GewsMy FovTop = 0.75 and my FovLeft = 1In that case it should be approximately:100 +2.7200 +1.9300 +1.0400 ZERO500 -1.1600 -2.6700 -4.0or alternatively+2 180+1 300 0 400-1 500-2 575-3 650-4 700Tip of the post should be about 775 m. JasonSabotage 0 Posted January 14, 2014 @Gews The alternative is correct. That is what my mildots are for the DMR. If that's what it is for the Shooting Range, will those calculations be the same for when I play Dayz and use the DMR?
