Found a Pristine Walkie Talkie, any use for it?

Any use for this? or maybe the function is still not yet unlocked in the DayZ Standalone, becoz i can only inspect it like this.....

I think it allows you to talk to someone over a far distance if you change voicechat to the appropriate channel? I never found one myself to be honest, however if you already use something like Skype to voice chat with friends, there's little point in using it except for immersion.

Save it, it will come in handy when they get the ingame radio protocols implemented :)
As far as i know you will be able to use it as a regular walkie talkie, but you can also use it a a "bug", turning off the speaker on it and placing it somewhere and then listening to it, to spy on people :)

BUT it does not have any ETA yet, though.

I found one as well, and cant find any use for it yet. So I guess we just have to wait and see when they add the actual walkie talkie feature.

I just found 2 of this in the same firestation in electro, and a 3rd one in the other firestation. WTH?
